Covid Protocols

In Clinic Appointment Protocols

When attending your in-clinic appointment, please note the following protocols to ensure the health and safety of everyone:

  • Are you experiencing any of the following symptoms with unknown cause?
    • Fever
    • Cough
    • Shortness of breath
    • Difficulty breathing
    • Chills
  • Have you had contact with any person with, or under investigation for, COVID-19 in the last 14 days?
  • Have you or anyone from your household travelled outside of the province or Canada?

If you’ve answered NO to the above, please note the following:

  • Please arrive at your scheduled appointment time. If arriving early, please wait in your vehicle to limit social contact in the clinic.
  • We ask that only the patient with the scheduled appointment attends the office. Exceptions can be made for small children of parents, or guardians for those with disabilities. Note that children must be in the treatment room with the parent at all times.
  • Please use the hand sanitizer provided at the reception desk upon entry to the clinic.
  • You may also bring your own mask, if possible.
  • We encourage you to use your home washroom prior to attending your appointment as the clinic restroom will NOT be available, unless for emergency purposes.
  • Contact-less payment (tap) is available for use on our terminal.

Rest assured we are using enhanced cleaning procedures throughout the office. This includes:

  • Anti-viral cleaner on all high-touch surfaces, including our treatment tables, POS terminal, door knobs, railings, countertops, armrests, etc.
  • The removal of magazines, books, brochures and toys
  • Your Chiropractor will be wearing a surgical mask during your treatment
  • The installation of a plexiglass barrier at the reception desk
  • Strict hand hygiene before and after each patient
